Apple CarPlay will not launch in Ghibli after plugging in the USB cable if your iPhone is locked and you havenāt allowed access in the settings. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, and select your vehicle name under MY CAR. Then turn on the slider button next to āAllow CarPlay While Lockedā. Settings > General > CarPlay > Your Car Name

I replaced the USB cable a couple of times for an official Apple cable. Again this worked for a short time, but then reverted to the same issues. I switched my connection from the USB-A port to the USB-C port but that didnāt have a lasting effect either. Wirless Apple Carplay connection. The New iPhones have Bluetooth 5.0 on them. This should allow for wireless access to Apple Carplay. I know my neighbor has a new BMW and can access Apple Carplay with OUT pluging in his iphone, thatās my goal here. I think I would have to take up one of my USB ports on a permanent basis. c8GKPU.
