Recommended service and gearbox oil change is 7 years or 84k miles. I called my local dealer John Weir in Perth and they have given me a price of £350 for the service.
7. Remove dipstick and check fluid level as follows: (a) Correct acceptable level is in crosshatch area. (b) Correct maximum level is to MAX arrow mark. (c) Incorrect level is at or below MIN line. (d) If fluid is low, add only enough Mopar ATF +4 Automatic Transmission fluid to restore correct level. Do not overfill.

When I bought my CRD I changed my oil to Castrol EDGE FST 5w40 full synthetic. I noticed increased ticking (probably lifters) and my oil pressure went down a bit. I didn't quite like it so after about 1000km I drained it and filled with Valvoline Maxlife 10w40 - no more ticking and oil pressure went a bit higher.
